Cosmic Transmission: Do This Under a Leo New Moon

Cosmic Transmission: Do This Under a Leo New Moon

1. Stand in front of the Mirror, close enough to see into your eyes.

2. Study your eyes. Feel yourself.
Search for the person within.
Do you feel your own sadness? Anxiety?

Hopefulness or calmness?  What is there?

Take a moment to Be With Yourself.

3. Remind yourself that A - you will always be there for yourself
and B - congratulate yourself on getting this far.  Being a human
is a difficult thing these days! This is the Astrological Age we'll look
back on as the Age of Rearrangement, Revolution and the Rebuilding of The World.
That simply means things have to change and you may see, feel or hear
the changes faster. Sound about right?

4. Salute yourself and, no matter how you are feeling,
tell yourself that no matter what, you'll love you, and then no
one else will need to Love you. They'll just love being with you.

5. Smile. No matter what crap you're currently going through
(Or spiritually speaking which stuff you have chosen to offload to
help the lot of us) you owe it to yourself as a gift of love, to
Smile To Yourself, even in sympathy for surviving hard times.

6. You will revisit yourself at least once every day for the next week.
During this time you'll see an evolution of your being from sadness to happiness.

How?

Ah, there's the magic.

You were being Loved.
Simply paying attention to yourself regularly,
listening to yourself, feeling yourself. That's Love,

your attention is the only attention that truly heals you and
restores you to Love.

Visit With Yourself Regularly :)

The ends the Leo New Moon "re-aligning with your True Self" transmission.

Forgotten Fun? The Leo New Moon

The New Moon in Leo is a timely reminder to Just Keep Loving It (All)!

Leo is usually the sign we can count on to show us how to let our hair down and have a good time. But how can you do that with Saturn the karmic debt-collector hanging over you and with Venus Retrograding in your sign. Leo's had a hard time and it's not over yet, so give them a hug when you see them, they're sure to need it.

Maybe we can help them out under this particular New Moon phase with a reminder to them of their own birthright.

For us all, the New Moon is an opportunity to remember the innocence of childhood, when we weren't yet burned by the hot flames of desire, pummeled by passion and ripped off emotionally by those who let us open up and then 'loved' us by bruising our sensitive hearts and trampling on our fragile egos.

Astrologer Linda Goodman once said that giving is effortless and it's our nature. The apple tree doesn't choose who it bestows its fruit to, it simply must. Without giving, the tree would die.

In our lives it becomes a scorecard game of 'give and withdraw' when we seek only to protect ourselves from hurt once inflicted or suffered (it's the same burn). However this New Moon asks of us to continue giving birth to ideas, games, projects that feel good no matter the consequences to our ego.

Playing is the act of creation - of getting up and doing it and having a go. Of major risk - the audience may boo, the lover may walk, the art be trashed by critics, the haircut receive laughs in the street, the gamble fail, the open heart be swallowed whole, the song flop, the movie script bomb, the idea crash and burn.

Whether you want to be the worlds greatest Lover, or the next Van Gogh, the next Oscar actor, or just loved without feeling like you'll be dumped the moment something goes wrong, we're all presented with a Stage this lunar phase and we're all given the choice to walk on, or hide in the wings watching more fearless souls take to the spotlight. (you're kidding yourself if you believe they're not nervous, they just have no other choice because it's Shine or Die under a Leo New Moon...)

Shining is the only way to to keep the darkness at bay. So if you're swamped by the shadows now, the only choice you have is to continue burning brightly, with no other power source but your own right to be respected, your own need to create and your own vision of how something could be.

Desire is our fuel now, and passion our road map. And while many cultures and religion see 'ego' as something to move beyond, to ignore, repress or destroy (Madonna Leo (whose sun shines in the 12th house of ego submission) sings just this in her song Die Another Day - "I'm gonna destroy my ego" since this is her own life path mission, but try telling that to most Leos whose Sun burns in the other 11 houses of the astrological wheel!) it is not.

Ego is the spark of spiritual light given a backbone and a reason for being (after all what is the point of being a soul unless you're incarnated into the physical world to effect change. It was Ego that led most people to their great works - even acts of compassion because they WANTED to make a difference, and couldn't not.

What in your life do you have NO choice in doing because you have to, must do it, because it IS you?

That's your Leo New Moon phase in action. And your spiritual purpose in action!
It's not about success or failure, it's about Playing the Game.

Help and Hindrances

As always other planets come into the picture to aid or thwart us in this endeavor to make the game more interesting. Leo New Moons are about finding a new way to express yourself, let your ego shine and Do What Only You Do Best.

If you're still wondering what that is, look to the House and Sign your Sun is placed in your Astrology Chart. For more on how this New Moon affects your personal Birth Chart, schedule a special New Moon Ritual Reading with me - and I'll help you navigate this period, and reveal what it means to you as well as helping you to find your core - for if we shine in the House of our Charts where the Sun was placed at our birth, then only great things can happen, because we are fulfilling our purpose on the planet. Simple ways to achieve Big Things.

No one else can live your life - you're the Star of your own Story.
So is it a story worth telling to future generations?

Shine on!

Fun in the Sun! New Moon in Leo: Jul 24 9.30pm PST

The New Moon in Leo on Jul 24 (9.30pm PST) falls in glorious Leo the Lion - and we're urged to open up our heart centers, throw some paint on the canvas, spill words from our heart onto paper or into the ears of those around us, dare to live to the fullest and Be Ourselves.

Wow - doesn't that sound like a lot?

I mean, what about the bills, the mess that needs cleaning up, the fact we have to grow up, the debt we have mounting, the issue we have we our neighbor/lover/parent and the stress in the world?

True - not many of us are feeling like Artists in a world that seems constantly on the brink of destruction. And with Saturn, the taskmasker in Leo right now, it's hard to step outside of the box and just let ourselves let go and have fun.

This New Moon asks us: When was the last time you laughed til you wept?

You know the feeling - when all is right with the world, when something is SO funny, you just lose it and your stomach bounces and your lungs ache and you can do nothing but weep. How can such a joyful feeling elicit a physical response so similar to grief?

Emotions are all connected, and oh-so similar. The release we have with tears of happiness are the same as tears of joy, just the energy behind it is different. This New Moon is about CREATING - not sitting in front of our TVs, not listening to someone elses ideas, concepts or work. It's about being an actor in our own lives, and the director and the scriptwriter. It's about being the Star of our own show.

What are you consuming and what are you creating? What are you going to make? What are you going to draw/paint/sing?

When was the last time you did something for the SHEER PLEASURE of it?

This New Moon encourages us to:

Go Dancing
Tell someone we absolutely adore them
Be seen and be heard
Show off
Get colorful - in behavior and wardrobe
Paint, sing, write, act
Be bold
Shine with all our might
Go on a Date or take ourselves on one
Visit the movies or see a real theatre show for once
Find for a film audition
Google your own name
Be vain and proud!
Be in Love with everyone for an entire day
Be generous with what we have
Tell others have frickin amazing/cool/hot/nice/helpful/funny they are
Make someone laugh
Make someone smile
Put someone on a pedestal
Enjoy being hoisted up yourself

What makes you really happy? And why aren't you doing it? At this New Moon there is absolutely no excuse - no matter WHAT is happening in your life - to salavage the moment and turn it into something you want it to be. Even in a war-torn corner of the globe (and let's face it, which corner ISN'T war-torn if humans are currently living there..?) we can look up to the skies and realize there's a bigger world out there and we can bond with those around us, and find a space and a reason see the insanity behind it all. Life's too short to succomb to the madness...

Someday this will all be over - and that fact should alone make us, no matter what, find a place to enjoy this moment with all its apparant pain, chaos, insanity, injustice and ridiculousness.

Humans have been programmed by those above them (seemingly 'above' but no more evolved) to think life is about struggle - but it was never intended for that. It was a jewel - an opportunity to harvest riches of exprience, in a 3-d world where we get to savor all we create. Somehow we have forgotten this, in the race to blame others or ransack lands for gold, oil and other reserves.

We can take this back - and remember our purpose. To laugh, to have fun, to enjoy every waking moment of this human life we lead.

At the New Moon we are urged to become Artists and Co-creators of our live experience.
And to remember that ultimately...no matter what....and no matter where :

Happiness is a Choice.

Love,
Neil
