Sadness, Synchronicity & Slowing Down

As if under cosmic cue, I lost 4 pages I'd written to you. Pisces Season is often about "letting go" one way or another.

Lot of sadness around, whether your own or others suffering. Comes with the astrological territory we are currently traversing. Hang in there. You're not alone! If things get overwhelming, seek a Safe Other to talk to. [I'm still available for chats and readings, email reports are still helpful reminders from your soul]. Find an outlet for feelings. Poetry. Sad music. Chill-out time. People's minds are seeking to RELEASE MENTAL RESISTANCE, by whatever means they can find. Be one of the smart ones who do so within healthy limits (not something traditionally associated with Pisces). Seek a mental release, but be sure to stay grounded. Mercury in Pisces is the cosmic call for us all to root out egoistic thinking and Merge With The Infinite Again. This is the time to bring back your meditation practice, the yoga, mindfulness. Turn Zen, and tune out mental noise.

Mars is now in Taurus. This helps with the grounding. A calm body aids a quiet, calm mind. Go to PHYSICAL COMFORT to tend to 'heavy-mental' emotional stress. 

Allow for extra sleep or some sleepless nights. Mercury in Pisces gives way to Aries this week by the 13th so expect then, minds to turn edgier, angrier, hotter - seeking speedy solutions, new information. Seek and You Shall Find, by the raw Power of Pursuit. We are more able to rewire our brains and carve new neural pathways inside, so that we may explore new pathways, outwardly.

As above, so below. As within so without....

Mercury in Pisces squares Saturn in Sagittarius. Prejudice is rife. What or Who is real, what's fake?

"Fake News" has always been around, we only now have a name for it. Where's the 'fakery' in your own life? 

Depression can set in when either our honesty isn't welcomed, or lies are preferred.  Expressing our feelings honestly is still one of the bravest things we can do this lifetime. What will you stand for and Stand Up For, when it comes down to it?

This Mercury-Saturn stress can be relieved by Remembering That Happiness is a Choice and that Optimism is too. No matter what situation we find ourselves in, we need to embrace both signs: Pisces kaleidoscope of feelings and sensations and Sagittarius' Bigger Picture & desire to magnify.

Magnified feelings help us create works of art, as our creativity grows. Magnified feelings also mean Amplified Grief as well as Amplified Ecstasy. These are the times: this week, Sag-Pisces energy is strong, so you need to find ways to Explore a New Adventure while Maintaining an Inspired Cosmic perspective. Look for Silver Linings in Storm Clouds: "Everything happens for a reason", for example. "It's the Journey that matters most". "Reach for a Better Feeling". "All is Well". "This too, shall pass". "Better Days Are Ahead". Being in the Right Place At the Right Time, despite how things make outwardly look. Trust. Believe. Expect.

These are choices we can all make.

Saturn in Sagittarius can bind us to locations - trapping us in certain times and places to learn specific lessons. Being Trapped, could be a theme that hides a truly cosmic and karmic purpose. We all face Judgment now, our own Judgments or from those thrown our way by those around us. We get to see where we are living narrowly, where Saturn in Scorpio may have quashed our adventurousness, our open-mindedness. We get to choose now to keep breaking the prisons of belief we may have stumbled in. Like planets, are we pulling towards (conjunct) others or away (opposition). Let's try to avoid having or Stories define us. 

We are still Real People, beneath the tales.

Find your freedom where you are.  Look for greater knowledge. Bookstores. Classes. Podcasts. Check out www.astronaut.io for truly Sag-Pisces experience no one else will get to have but you. Sometimes it's good to Pan Way Back, for a more Global Perspective.

Saturn in Sagittarius is the quest for the Truth, but it's also the wall that's built to keep the lies alive.

 The only way through the blocks is a greater understanding of how other people live. Pisces-Sagittarius is the ultimate alignment attuned to Compassion for Those (seemingly) Unlike Us. The guy next door from a different country. The girl at work who follows a different political party.  Our galactic cousins we're possibly yet to meet.

This week then: Soothe your Soul. Align with Others who have compassion enough to care, to listen, to try to understand. Do the same for others. Slow down and catch your breath, this is not a race but do allow new information to pull your mind's eye in new directions. It's Time!

We're building to the 7th (of 7) Uranus-Pluto alignments on March 16, 2015. You've probably already heard or read countless times now how these are "game changers" otherwise known as "The Universe rearranging the pieces FOR you" or so it would seem.

 Higher Purposes (outer planet stuff) lie behind EVERY event around this time. [Like the Major Arcana in the Tarot representing the Soul's Journey...compared to the minor arcana day-to-day stuff].

Big Things are happening whether you see them or not. And perhaps Big Things are already happening within your own life, or the lives of those around you? Or just have. Or perhaps they soon will be..?

Uranus = Aquarius = shocks to awaken us to our True Selves and Ultimate Freedom.
Pluto = Scorpio = the breaking down and purging then renewal or removal of that which no longer helps the Whole (be it a body, company, relationship, country etc)

Put the two together in a Cosmic Clash and we'll see in the weeks ahead the manifold manifestations of their dynamic dueling.  Don't forget it could easily be a windfall as a windmill falling on you.

Think The Joker versus Darth Vader...

Keep an eye out for global phenomena: further insane weather as Earth herself reacts to this energy:

things falling down, caving in or otherwise crumbling, 

bombs or people 'going off,

Some Things Are Not Over,

You know how annoying computer upgrades are? It's like that but for Humans  - complete with emotions to boot (pun intended).

 Go easy. Even when life isn't. Especially then. Bigger Forces are at work. Remember This. Everyone's having a hard time right now in SOME area of life.

The thing you never saw coming, along with the thing you were hoping for that does arrive, or the thing you hope to see coming (or going)...even this too shall pass. So breathe.

There is always life AFTER the thing you're stressed about.

The "Bittersweet Rocky Road" of Human Love

Love-ruled VENUS is jammed between

 CHIRON of Healing (or rewounding) & the Hot DESIRE of Mars. 

Relationships of all kinds are all weirdly affected now because everyone's dealing with their own SELF-LOVE issues (or playing out ancient family dramas, cleansing patterns of wounding or hurting and learning compassion along the way) or past-life unfinished business that needs a clear up by playing out (since it all takes place in Pisces, the last sign).

So much is being washed away now, under the stellium of the Fish.

We either get swallowed up in our own personal darkness, or we continue to reach out boldly to the Other with courage and even just a shred of faith because we believe in Compromise and Cooperation. (The basic message of the Lunar North Node of Karmic Evolution currently in Libra). Old angers and the acting out of feeling trapped or breaking free are triggered (Aries South Node with Uranus) but firing every one of us for what ultimate purpose?

Into Coming Together in New Ways. The "meet me halfway" way. Synergy. Win-Win. Not the "me, myself and mine" habits we may have slipped into (Aries South Node) but the "I got your back, you got my back and we'll hash out a deal or compromise at every conflict".

The "WE"....

Alas, on Planet Earth, a zone of Free Will and Accept the Consequences, not everyone wants a resolution. Not everyone agrees. Not everyone wants an agreement to even be reached. Not everyone wants to shake hands and forgive. Not everyone wants to say sorry.

Moving under Mercury Retrograde in Cancer...

Mercury is Retrograde in Cancer (the 'Home' sign) and Neptune is visiting my Home - just entering my 4th House (the House of the Home). Already the tide is dissolving the foundations. What foundations? They were already taken by the fire of May 2013! Born with a Pisces Sun and Mercury in the 4th, square Neptune you'd think my home would be swallowed up by the ocean, not burned to the ground. But the theme remains the same - intangible outer security creates the necessity for tangible inner security. And that's a tough one.

Nice in theory, rough as hell in practice.

The Universe works in mysterious ways, and Neptune/Pisces energy teaches us one thing above all - sometimes you can fight the tide (like those fish that swim upstream) or you can let it carry you.

As "fate" steps in once more, I have to relocate again. I went back and calculated it (Mercury Retrograde in Cancer is THE "Memory Lane" phase) and in my going-on-13 years in the USA, I've moved 24 times! Maybe I'll write a book on the many reasons why (the genre will be mixed - adventure/horror/comedy).

Now, as the Neptune tide turns (about to go retrograde in my 4th, ruling my 4th), a marijuana grower and her son moved in (not that I had a complaint about that) and I'm having to move out. I like to see it as another Upgrade, a sign that my wings are ready again to take another flight.

I have to move by July 1 so Weekly Scopes are on hold - but the ones up are still relevant as Mercury Retrograde lasts until then.

My natal 4th House Sun in Pisces with Mercury, squared by Neptune in Sagittarius has always been a curious alignment to be born under. The way I describe it: picture a man standing on an island of his own, formed after a giant earthquake has cracked away at the land. He's floating away but he's reaching, reaching for what looks like security and safety of the gang of people across the other side, physical land, or physical connection, of family and a sense of belonging, of safety. Continental Drift of the Emotional Kind.

Safety, Security, Roots - these concepts are very personal to me and yet foreign in many areas (I live in the emotional waters of Pisces in the watery 4th House of human emotions and our Soul). They often elude me in all areas but my work. In the uncertainty and in the unknown, in the emotional and in the soul, I find the safety, security and roots more earthy signs find just by being here, on Planet Earth. My clients allow themselves to drown with me, only to discover those little forgotten pearls and reminders from the bottom of their own inner world.

 Sometimes  - a lot of times, when you're born under the alignments I myself were - you have nothing left but to stand (or lie down) and surrender. Because the Universe can take what it wants from you, at any moment, on the way to giving you what you truly want. If you can let it go. Hard to believe, huh? But then my Neptune in Sagittarius is a spiritual call to Faith and to the Journey, after all.

There's always the other side to Neptune and Pisces energy. The part of me that wants to 'check out'. Beam up up! (If I'm taken by aliens - no doubt my real family - you'll know why). But that's the same part that enables me to 'tune in' to other realms of energy.We all carry a curse and a blessing, two sides of the same coin. The astrological hand we were dealt. I continue to do my Best, as I hope you are, in trying to Stay in your Light, Stand in your Strength, Be Proud of your Effort and Salute your Soul's Balls (whether you're male or female in this incarnation) in deciding to come here

I'll check in when I can, between finding a new place to call "home" and when there's something going on we should all know about.

U-Turn, Shocks & Sudden Surprises! (Uranus goes Retrograde June 26 - Nov 27)

Prepare for an imminent u-turn, sudden surprise, or some other 'veering off the direction you thought you were heading in'.

Maybe the change has been planned for a long time (nothing 'sudden' is every truly a surprise when you peer behind the event...it's been building from somewhere), or maybe it bubbles up in a short space of time. Uranus, the energy of innovation, liberation and freedom is retrograding soon, and the Changes we THOUGHT we wanted, we no longer desire. The Changes we THOUGHT we'd made, may no longer work or need tweaking. And the Changes we HAVEN'T made in our own best interests (i.e to aid our self-understanding and freedom as unique individuals) may be made seemingly made for us.

Life, events, circumstances - all conspire now to bring you to a closer awareness of YOU. And the You you want to be, rather than the tangles of 'stuff and situations' you find yourself in, that you somehow, laughingly believe IS you. Imagine!

We all have a true north and many side-streets to get there, and many to squander our talents, resources and life-force. Neon signs now MAY be forcing our hand in turning a better corner that's right for US, not what is logically right for anyone else.

Don't identify with what is before you now.

I was reminded of this advice recently from a very astute Aries - the sign of self-identity. Just observe, witness and see where the change, or option or possibility of Change lies in each situation that now unfolds.

Stability? Forget it! Don't actively seek it out right now because somewhere, lurking in your Astrology Chart (and life) is this Uranus energy - the troublemaker to all those who want eternal safety and security. And it's moving backwards to rock the boat a little for the sake of freshness.

It's affecting a SPECIFIC area of your life, and often a number of areas (the HOUSE its moving through in your Chart, the House ruled by Aquarius and any planets in OTHER houses its affecting).

Needless to say it's more complicated than meets the eye, but that's where my job comes in. Is it only a U-turn, a sudden surprise or shock, a reversal of action or direction? Or is it a subtly, clever, trickster disguise to get you to reevaluate your social awareness, your social position, your friendships, your "network", your ability to think on your feet and your true nature and ability to 'wing it'.

We'll all find more of ourselves this week, but it won't come from things we nail down or have set in stone. Growth now comes in sudden spurts when we think we're going crazy or life is mad. An electric shock to the system to ensure than we simply can't carry on living boring lives of sameness when we came here to destroy or test out or comfort zones so that we continually are propelled forwards to learn new things, feel new things and experience new things that help us feel new things!

When the prison bars break apart, will you really know you're free to go, or will you sit and complain the safety and security of your usual "view" has been ruined.
