Water Week

As mentioned in previous posts...the retrograde action of Mercury in the sign of Pisces (water, liquids, oil, alcohol and so forth) is bringing news to the surface strongly linked to these areas.

I actually rented a movie called Waterbourne without realizing it, and it sat around until tonight when I finally popped it in. It's an indie film based on the premise that the water supply here in Los Angeles was infiltrated by a bio-terrorist attack. The characters were without water, reviewing (Mercury retrograde) their lack of concern with it previous to the drought that ensued and so forth.

The BBC somehow decided to take it upon themselves to make this "water week" at their website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/healthy_living/nutrition/drinks_water.shtml

And news was also reported of a pretty major oil spill in Alaska:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4795866.stm

And who'd even think you could argue over owning a piece of the ocean floor? Mercury retrograde ('the "diver") shows us just how that's possible: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/crossing_continents/4781886.stm

They're talking about a possible ocean on Saturn. Surprise, surprise...
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/4790126.stm

Stranded dolphins were released back (retrograde) into the sea
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/northern_ireland/4795160.stm

And finally, for today, how about burying carbon monoxide UNDER the sea bed??

Feel Me Fix Me: Virgo Lunar Eclipse March 14

The Lunar Eclipse on March 14 falls at 24Virgo.

I always look to Eclipses to shake up weather patterns. So the next 6 months (a typical manifestation period it seems for Lunar Eclipses, though they can continue longer) should create a few tectonic plate shifts - first on the emotional level (as Lunar Eclipses do, the Moon being our emotional source) and thus finally, manifested on the physical level. Perhaps we'll see nothing until after this period is over, but the ripples begin and sensitive souls will surely feel them.

Note: Solar Eclipses create more weather patterns as far as tectonic plates go - the Sun having a direct impact on more physical aspects of our lives - egos in particular. Stay tuned for the March 29 Aries Eclipse, article to be posted soon.

Back to the Lunar Eclipse for now:

In Virgo, this Eclipse highlights obvious places in our lives that no longer 'work'. Energy is blocked. Emotions cause a dam to build. Things break down - and so it begins. Health deteriorates, jobs cave in, bodies crumble and things begin to get messy.

Virgo detests mess, but this period helps us deal with it - you can't sweep a room (Virgo) until you look at what's hidden beneath the rug (Pisces). Since the Sun is in Pisces opposing the Virgo Moon at this Eclipse, we need both sides of the seesaw to navigate ahead. But somehow, in some way, the chaos in our lives is about to be picked up for what it is - clutter that we no longer need.

This Lunar Eclipse is like a major Full Moon cleansing - which is a great thing to, in the sign of Virgo which relates to health and healing on many levels. I notice some people with an abundance of 6th House planets are healers in many areas of life. Caretakers who know how to nurture and truly heal at a deep level - they know dis-ease is a sign that comfort levels have been breached (pisces) and some sort of system needs to be brought back, so that a physical order (virgo) can be maintained.

Our jobs and what we feel useful doing come into question - I expect a lot of people to be truly unhappy at this point, as the news will begin to tell us - unemployment or other job related issues. Are people feeling useful, helpful (or helped)? Service jobs are sure to feel the effects - from a waiter who 'goes postal' to a hairdresser who just about scalps someone because they can't stand the petty and mindless day to day 'stuff'.

The fabric of our daily lives will change - perhaps a new calendar is hung or an old one torn down. perhaps a new clock is set at a new time, or else an old pattern of waking/sleeping is experienced.

There's never been a better time to work on our health - expect some new radical breakthroughs that are actually very simple. Virgo isn't all flashy lights and bells, it just is simple and it works. There's no way round it - clear health comes from the 6th house of our chart - which is ruled by Mercury. Health comes first from the MIND. We can think ourselves back to full health. We need Virgo order though. We need exercise and fruit and vegetables. We need fresh things and fresh energy. We need to change our schedules, our rituals, our habits.

This Full Moon Eclipse changes what you do, how you do it, and why.

Big stuff. But awesome in that if it isn't working, you'll soon see. Your choice - to fix it, fine-tune it, or decide it no longer can be repaired or it's had its time.

Keep it SIMPLE.

As one Virgo told me, all you need is LOVE and SERVICE.

Remember that, when emotions run high and you wonder why you're getting so worked up over something so small, so insignificant and truly something so unimportant.

If it bothers you, fix it, or stop complaining!

I'll catch you on the other side, when the dust settles - have your hoover ready...

Love,
Neil

March Skywatch

Sky Signs of Spring

When evening arrives, find Mars high in the southern sky, while Saturn hangs high in the east. Mars is in the constellation Taurus and the ringed Saturn in the constellation Cancer.

Right now Jupiter (negative second magnitude, bright) rises just before midnight; by the end of the month, it will rise in the east at about 9:30 p.m.

Venus arrives about two hours before sunrise. At about 4:30 a.m., look for it in the east. By sunrise, you'll find the effervescent Venus shining bright in the southeast.

And the astronomical start of spring occurs at 1:26 p.m. Eastern time, March 20: the Vernal equinox, when the sun crosses the equator from the southern hemisphere into the northern hemisphere.

Whose Truth is it? Jupiter Retrograde Mar 4 - Jul 6 2006

People love peddling the Truth when Jupiter goes Retrograde.

Jupiter, the planet of Knowledge & Wisdom goes inward asking us to question our own inner Truths. Are you sure what you believe in, is accurate? Do you have First Hand experience of what you're talking about, or is it something of the 'teaching-preaching' type - ie, you heard it, read it or were told about it?

Whose truth is it?

The months ahead will try and sell us many varied versions of the same story. Every one is accurate and truthful of course, from their own perspective and that's just it: Perspective is Everything.

If you haven't directly experienced something, how do you know it's true?

FAITH comes into question now - from Jupiter Retrograde issues with Religion (expect a questioning of validity, "we need proof" and the search for something intangible - will we find it?) Jupiter relates to LAW so there'll be a lot of people going back to court (retrograde). Jupiter is EDUCATION - school strikes, or old laws being reintroduced, education reform - these are areas to look to in the coming months as people begin to grumble about the laws holding things together.

Sometimes we HAVE no proof and no book, teacher or newspaper holds the knowledge we seek. And therein lies the beauty between now and July 6 - we have ourselves, and our direct experience. We also have that magical thing called Faith, Optimism, and a belief in a higher power, "good luck", providence or 'serendipity'. The Jewish faith calls it 'B'shert - meant to be.

Finding what you believe in, and then questioning it, is a tall order. After all, reality is created by a set of agreed upon 'beliefs'. Change your belief, change your perception, which changes your reality. Pretty big stuff - but what else do you expect from the biggest planet?

Jupiter brings up old teachings, old information and old beliefs that are ready to fall by the wayside. Archaic ritual will be replaced with new and fresh insights of what is REALLY happening. Can you stay present and OPEN to the new information ready to pour in?

Our intuition (inner tuition) is remarkable, and with so much energy in Pisces along with Mercury going retrograde now, all we seek is inside - our outer world will continue to mirror the conflicts or peace we have on the inside.

Keep your inner ear open and your eyes glues to the TV inside yourself, where news comes 24/7 by way of intuition and direct experience. Everything you need is there - with no monthly fee..

Love,
Neil

What Lies Beneath?

As mentioned, news related to WATER are cropping up as things are being uncovered or re-covered (retrograde "re") under or, in or around the water (Pisces). I'll add them as they appear.

Mercury Retro Sign-Synopsis

If you read the article below, for an overview of this Retro period, you can continue with the forecast for every sign:

: Aries and Aries Ascendant: This Mercury Retrograde cycle affects your twelfth house of all that lies beneath the surface of things. Keep an eye out for deceptiveness and falseness in others. Clear karma - old 'stuff' returns. Let go, for god's sake. Learn to use your psychic senses. Spend mental time outs 'finding yourself'. Be alone. Create something ethereal. Chill.

Taurus and Taurus Ascendant: This Mercury Retrograde cycle affects your eleventh house of friendships, groups, and aspirations. Miscommunications with friends - very likely. Decisions surrounding finances, romantic partners and creative endeavors may not be that strong - be careful when signing or agreeing unless you know the bottom line. Risks? A-No!

Gemini and Gemini Ascendant: This Mercury Retrograde cycle affects your tenth house of career and reputation. Mercury being your ruling sign take into account all we said earlier about the ramifications of the Retro cycle. Slow down, finish what you start. Backtrack. Edit. Polish. Don't push!

Cancer and Cancer Ascendant: This Mercury Retrograde cycle affects your your ninth house of faith and adventure. Seeing the bigger picture, the whole story?? I don't think so. Careful - religious wars of trying to be right land you in hot, hot water! Travel plans could change on you.

Leo and Leo Ascendant: This Mercury Retrograde cycle affects your eighth house of intimacy, shared resources, and personal transformation. Money or any shared/joint resources, filing taxes, and loved ones throw you tests and challenges - don't bite the hand that feeds you. Be honest and above-board and you got nothing to worry about.

CHange your schedule by doing something different, if it's not working don't fix it, try another way.

Scorpio and Scorpio Ascendant: This Mercury Retrograde cycle affects your fifth house of romance, speculation, entertainment, and children. Invites don't work out, the party's canceled. Children act up. Dates don't show or they lied about themselves. FInish creative projects though, and work on that ego of yours! Humility goes a LONG way, Scorp!

Sagittarius and Sagittarius Ascendant: This Mercury Retrograde cycle affects your fourth house of home and family. Home improvement could lead to a change that leads to a change - but remember, change is good. Moving or settling? Don't expect the usual. The past returns again for one last kiss goodbye. Let it go, please...

Capricorn and Capricorn Ascendant: This Mercury Retrograde cycle affects your third house of communication, siblings, and neighbors. People don't listen or hear. You don't. Miscommunications, car troubles, travel stress, losing things - problems with everything we mentioned in the first paragraphs of the blog - phew, slow down Goats. Check details and if you're unsure, Don't Do a Thing for now.

Aquarius and Aquarius Ascendant: This Mercury Retrograde cycle affects your second house of money and values. Hold off on decision-making regarding your personal finances. Filing your taxes or apply for a loans isn't wise - are you sure it's all correct? . Rethink your sources of income and how you spend your cash! Keep an eye on your wallet and statements.

Pisces and Pisces Ascendant: Mercury is retrograde in your sign. Others might misunderstand what you have to say. Go inside and get to know yourself better - a pit stop, a reality check. A change of appearance is worth a go but you may not keep it. Find your voice. Tap into what YOU want, forget others for a period. Alone time is good, soothe your soul just don't get lost!

Psychic Scuba: Mercury Retrogrades in Pisces (Mar 2 - 25)

Mercury the Messenger Planet goes Retro in Pisces - and you've all heard the numerous stories of how disasterous that is, blah blah - half of it's true and half of it is old Astrological hoo-hah, so let's get it all straightened out.

1. Mercury relates to cars, computers, phones, messages, mailmen/boxes, the Post Office, paperwork, pens, documents, folders, watches, highways, freeways, roads, wheels, engines, conversations, whispers, shouting, walkmans, cellphones, pagers - get the picture?

These areas can begin to glitch, twitch and malfunction if we're not using them properly - as a message to stop forcing things in the OUTER world so much. It slows us down to deal with things - are we using these Mercury tools in the best possible way? If we experience problems, probably not. (This is where the car trouble computer issues, mail annoyances, conversation miscommunications come in - along with traffic and travel tediousness...so slow down and have a Plan B).

2. When Mercury goes Retrograde its energy turns INWARD. Do we start listening to ourselves? Talking to ourselves? Replying to ourselves?

3. Not usually. It's frowned upon in today's world (if you talk to God you're religious, if you talk to yourself you're mad etc...) Well if we DID, we'd have a hell of a better time - especially in the next few weeks.

So what can we expect?

4. In Pisces, Mercury is anything but logical. Forget trying to even LOCATE the logic in life right now. The joke is on you if you try to. Some things cannot be held in the mind - but they can be beheld in the Mind's Eye - and that's the beauty of this cycle - creative visualization now can lead to physical manifestation later.

5. If everything is energy and things are build first in the mind, then using Mercurys inward focused energy path (in Pisces one of the most inner-directed signs there is), then we should be careful what we dwell on now. If you want it, build it within.

6. Dreams become really cool - we get messages and hints at where to go and what to do next.

7. Our intuition (tuition from within, ie: inner knowledge) picks up. We get amazing hunches. We just somehow KNOW.

8. Escapism is sold globally - take a pill, overdrink, watch more TV - just do ANYTHING but listen to your soul. We want your attention, we want your minds we want your money - in short, you lose your connection to your mind and therefore your freedom of choice if you succumb to the pre-packaged confusion that is sure to reign at this time.

9. What confusion? Stay tuned. The news is sure to kick up some HUGE QUESTIONS - some 'whoops we did WHAT' type news. Things get lost. Lost things reappear. Someone's huge lie is seen by the entire globe. Sleight of hand is also in the air (Pisces is a good smokescreen sign). Is it truth? Trust no one but yourself (Fox Mulder would love this cycle).

10. Water features in our lives and in symbols, in the news and so forth. Are we about to discover something in the ocean? Atlantis? That'd be cool, if it weren't for the fact I think we're already re-living Atlantis in the US with its current symbolism and blatant current direction (Research The Sons of Belial and The Law of One for more on Atlantis and todays reflections).

Strange things happen around, on, or in water - the seas, oceans, ponds, rivers - even in our own drinking supply. Hmm, odd things indeed. Is that Uranus and the Sun highlighting some watery issues - water being a sign of our collective unconscious. Demons ready to surface? or perhaps some gem of wisdom we sorely need to rediscover. Perhaps both.

Keep swimming and stay tuned.

To get back to what is likely to manifest....Pisces Mercurial energy is creative - it's amazing to tap into old works - the old novel you didn't finish, the screenplay, the song lyrics, poem or perhaps the painting that's nearly done.

RE - it's a 're' time - 'reinvent' re-discover' 'recycle' re-do' re-address - etc etc. The PAST comes back (especially for Pisceans) and it's time to draw some lines on what you want to take with you and what needs to stay in the past. Decipher why it happened, why it's happening again and choose to do something about it.

Inner swimming - learning to GO WITH THE FLOW and also to follow the dictates of WHAT FEEL RIGHT NO MATTER WHAT OUTER VOICE CONTRADICTS US.

Can you trust yourself?

We'll find out in the next two weeks. get creative, avoid the liars, cheats, thieves - within yourself first, because that's where it all begins, and then get back to using your PISCES DOLPHIN SONAR that we all have inside - trust it, sense and feel your way ahead and forget logic, sometimes you'll never know, unless you trust and go.

Love,
Neil

FORECASTS FOR THOSE CURIOUS, check the next post!

Neil D Paris

Electric Ether - Sun/Uranus in Pisces!

Spotlight (Sun) a hair drier (Uranus) in a fish tank (Pisces). Witness (Sun) a snapped electric cable (Uranus) on a wet road (Pisces).

Zap!

As the Sun conjuncts Uranus in the sign of Pisces this week, it's a high-voltage time, in the most ethereal way - we don't see sparks but boy do we feel them.

Feeling energized? Sleep patterns (Pisces) all askew (Uranus)? Sudden psychic hunches that are spot-on? That's the power of the planet of shocks, surprises and telepathy (Uranus) in the sign of psychic connections and ether (Pisces). What is invisible soon is made visible - to those who know how to read the clues and spot the signs.

The Fish are feeling this effect in a dramatic way - whether they realize it or not. They're becoming global citizens, breaking out, breaking free - and connecting, to new and like minded souls. Or the impetus is there to do so. No more being trapped in draining energy circles.

For Virgo, they're witness to the making and breaking of relationship patterns or are hosting the changes themselves in their own lives. Where is the space and freedom within a shared energy bubble? Leveling the playing field becomes a priority now.

Who's getting it rough now? Sagittarius has to face past issues and finally find a space of independence, away from family ties and those who are holding them back (themselves?) Gemini are facing career shifts - moving up the ladder or sideways and onto something different. Fresh fields ahead?

The Fire signs are making enormous adjustments to internal pressure to change SOMETHING - but what? Answers lie ahead - but for everyone it involves a BREAKTHROUGH, BREAKOUT or BREAKDOWN.

That goes for everyone. Freedom is calling and the winds of Change blow strong - if you're stuck, this week will help unpick you from the hooks holding you back - excuses, the past, society - whatever it is you claim is the reason for your unhappiness.

Progress comes in the blink of an eye when you can say "this is not making me happy, and that is not contributing to my growth as an individual".

Tough call - but Uranus holds no hostages - he has only the time to show you something new, something different, something CRAZY, if only to make you open your eyes and see that maybe...

....just maybe...

.....there is another way ahead for you.

There always is.

That's the Magic of Choice.

Electrify your life this week with some spontaneous leaps of faith, some innovate ways of using your emotional energy and tap into your intuition - everyone's psychic, so get using yours.

Love,
Neil xxx

Piscean Poetry

A gift...

..a poem..

..from my poetry book '37', written between 1999 and 2002, waiting for the right hour, as always, to be published.

Enjoy,
Neil

The keys in the stars

May the Sun help you find your way home soon
guided by the light of the silvery Moon.
May Mercury’s wings give you youthful flight
to find the cloud where Venus arms hold tight.
May the thunder of Mars make you carry on
till fear has finally faded, gone.

Till the horizons of Jupiter lie just ahead
to break the chains of Saturn’s weary tread
May you be struck by lightening of Uranus, rebel
Against a life of illusions under Neptune’s spell.
For only then will you brave Pluto’s awesome power
And make it Home at lastAt Earth’s final Twilight hour.

The Great Letting Go: New Moon in Pisces

The New Moon on Monday Jan 27 falls at 9Pisces opening up a doorway to another dimension, a peak into what lies beyond the physical plane of reality we all buy into, and offers us a chance to once again glimpse our souls as the fog of reality lifts, or to be exact, a neptunian haze decends on our daily life, confusing the status quo and rigid structure, dissolving what we believe to be real, so that, in the chaos and confusion we catch sight of the things that outlast and outwit time and space.

Pisces is the sign that knocks down walls, erases borders, dilutes concentrated energy and like a damn bursting, lets the water of our unconscious seep through into conscious awareness. It's cleansing - as is water the element it represents - and gives us a way out of any dilemma we currently find ourselves in...by way of Surrender.

As the final sign, Piscean energy is a composite of all the other signs, but with a twist - with the knowledge of the ego stages of soul-growth (aries to aquarius) Pisces energy is simulatanouely aware of its ego and lack thereof, picking up clues and hints and energies as well as sensing others egos around. Just as the sign of Pisces represents two fish swimming in different directions, there is always a duality to the final sign and duality represents choice - to follow the callings of the Higher Self (or Soul) or to follow the dictates of its earthy counterpart - in short, to invest emotional energy (which Pisces is composed mostly of) on temporal or eternal matters.

This New Moon, on Feb 27 reminds us of the power of Surrender - a grand Letting Go. If you've checked out the main page of my site, you'll see the new updated content and feel, (I, myself am a Pisces, so the New Moon in my 4th House (foundations, home) seemed a fitting time to release the new energy, since it's my own abode in cyberspace!

Notice the 'theme of the month' - the moments in life we seem to enjoy the most relate to surrender, a sort of 'letting go' and 'allowing':

Sneezing - if you block the energy flow, it can do damage!
Peeing after a long, LONG wait - need we say more?
Orgasm - the ultimate release
Crying - relieves internal pressure, massages the heart (emotional centre)
Rollercoasters - the ego is forced to surrender and trust (when was your last scream?)
Sleeping - the act of falling asleep calls for a letting go, allowing

Anything that asks you to dive in - playing the piano, painting, singing, dancing - if it calls for a soul expression, Piscean energy is found in abundance. The simple act of Letting Go manifests miracles now - what can you loosen your grip on?

As Neptune is the ruler of this month's final New Moon, it's a fitting time to simulatenously Let Go of addictions - alcohol, drugs, television, sex, food - whatever gives you your buzz and you 'can't live without'. Unhealthy relationship patterns that drain, give you a heavy feeling, make your stomach uncomfortable, feel restriced - they all need to change, and they can if you let them go during this time.

Energy flows - it's nature's way. When it's blocked, decay begins. This New Moon take a look at where these signs are, and if possible, pull in the dams, break the floodgates and let it out, let it move on, or do so yourself - it's the ultimate act of surrender, to Chart A Course While Letting Things Take Their Course.

Is there a higher purpose and a higher reason in your life now?

It's out of your hands for now, in many ways. Which doesn't mean to quit, opt out or give up (negative Piscea traits). The simultaneous fish we have yet to discuss asks us to follow it by introducing something NEW into our lives at this New Moon as always.

What Piscean energies can we bring in now?

Meditation - a morning 'unplugging' from technology, phones, people etc. A moment to gather yourself. Flip a tarot card, find your meaning for the day. Find your focus. Let things fall into place.

Yoga - a fluid movement which allows energy to flow through the body.

Swimming - graceful, elegant, very healthy and a Piscean dream - escaping to the water.

Drinking more water - okay, so include juice (my current favorite is kiwi-strawberry, 100% mind you, no added sugar) but make it all natural. MORE WATER is essential now, to keep your emotional balance.

Cry, laugh, giggle, sigh - let your feelings out more. be honest. If you're uncomfortable, say so.

Focus your intention and invest emotionally in what makes you Feel Good - simple as that - let draining energy move on, or move on without it. Is it really necessary?

Linda Goodman once said "if it was negative it didn't happen...except in the world of illusion"

See beyond the "maya" - illusion. Watch movies like the Matrix, The Truman Show, The 13th floor, The Island - they contain themes that pertain to life on earth. There's more going on that meets the eye, remember that.

Do I have all the answers? Hell, no. And therein lies the joy of life - no one has the ulimate truth.

This New Moon, Spirit calls - will you hear, and what will you do when you glimpse 'Soul'?

Escape into yourself, chart your inner waters, how about checking out your own Past Life or Karmic Insight Report (they're 50% discounted for Piscean season on the site). My gift to you.

I hope you all enjoy this Piscean New Moon as much as I know I shall.

Life's easy when you allow. What greater power is there than bowing down to Nature's majesty - there's comfort, safety and power in moving with the Earth. As we rotate through the galaxy, who knows where we'll end up by 2012. I just know that we can do our part by finding out centre, and standing firm within in. That's Authentic Living.

It's a great time to explore Astrology further - if I can help out with that, then drop me a line. Or happy navigate the waters yourself - what a time to dive in.

The Great Letting Go begins on Jan 27 - boy voyage!
Love,
Neil xx (one for each fish)

The Magic of the Pleiades

For anyone wishing to know more about the current Earth shifts, how to manage energy and understand a little more about the 'topsy turvy' times we live in, I have found the Barbara Marciniak series of book a fascinating read - chiming those inner bells of truth.

I pass this information on in the spirit of open knowledge and the sharing of what I find to be of value and use.

They are magical, fun, insightful and if I'm having a stressful day, they remind me of my centre. perhaps they'll do the same for you - their vibration feels high, and everyone I have mentioned them to, seems to feel the same way.

Barbara's books are: Earth, Family of Light, Bringers of the Dawn & Path of Empowerment.

I hope you find these books of as much value as I have - they're truly worth checking out. I have never been a fan of 'channeled' material, but the voice within these books, to me, made sense, and seemed to carry gems of wisdom that can help us navigate our internal worlds, especially during this important time.

The Mayan calendar ends in 2012, and these books touch upon this and many other subjects, including the manipulation of energy by the 'World Management team', the use of sexual energy to shift reality, and paradigm-busting. Fun stuff - does it resonate with you?

You can find out more at http://www.pleiadians.com/dawn.htm.

The Fog Descends: Piscean Season

The Sun has just moved into Pisces.

Can you feel it? Suddenly your eyes glass over and the only urge you have is to pull up a seat in front of a movie, sink into a jacuzzi, spend 30 minutes longer in the shower, walk in the pouring rain, finish an entire pot of ice cream, write a love song, use watercolors, let the mess build up while you catch up on extra sleep, lose your head in a sexual high or an emotional low....

The list goes on.

Now we're in Pisces season, a lot of things begin to slide. it's hard to to stay focused and disciplined. Weird things start happening like you suddenly know it's not safe to walk down the left hand side of the sreeet (but you don't know why so you cross over and continue). You feel you should pick a book off a shelf and randomly read - and end up pulling to a page that mentions the name of your dog (that no one knew).

We put it down to coincidence, but in Pisces season could it be more? Sychronicity is everywhere - you run into someone you were thinking about. Someone else calls you just before you were going to call or email them. You guess who'll win the race.

Pulling away from the mainstream was the focus during Aquarius Season (last month) but now we take it even further. Some of us will hide out in our unconscious, to create, to dream to hide from the realities outside our doors, whilst others will hide in the company of others, the bottle, food, sex.

The bottom line? We're seeking to reconnect spiritually to something, someone ANYTHING that will give us a reason to get up each morning. After all, none of life makes any sense now, so why not just float along and get lost? It'd be easy - but where is the spiritual discipline or progress in that?

By all means now is it the time to float along. Sometimes doing nothing makes things 'right' again - the stains come out in the wash so to speak.

Other times, we needto resist going over the edge by paddling like a maniac. If you're easily addicted, now's the time you need to watch it - the urge is there and ENABLERS are everywhere!

Creative souls can find their muse, or rediscover something lost or forgotten. Dreams become symbols, messages from the unconscious.

Spot the clues, listen to the silence, feel between the lines and Follow Your Intuition - now's the time when you'll find some magical miracles manifesting if you're awake long enough.

Find your High - and no, I don't mean drink or drugs - there are other ways. However the indulgences will continue - and I'm sure we'll hear of some reports of people going off the deep end - overdoses, 'accidental' slippings-over-to-the-other-side.

The ocean is Neptunes domain - our collective unconscious as well as our physical oceans. Expect news and rumblings from beneath. Dare you dive down? Look for clues now in the collective unconscious that will give us messages as to what is lying in store for us in the next year. Now's the time when if we listen and most importantly FEEL, we'll find out.

Swim against the tide, then surf, cruise, coast, skinny-dip, paddle, dive, float, but above all - keep swimming.

Love,
Neil

Mars enters Gemini

Two paths open up. One leads further into the forest. The other is well-lit, well-worn and signposted. Which would you take?

A new job offer - same pay, better prospects, one is 15,000 miles from your current home. Which path do you choose?

A boyfriend and a lover. One gives you stability, the other a frigging good time. Long-term satisfaction or long term security?

Some choices aren't as easy, or difficult (all is relative, perspective is everything when it comes to choice).

As Mars moves into Gemini two (or more) options open up. Communication becomes more direct - you'll notice the number of people arguing increases these days. The number of people on cell phones increases. Traffic is faster. More mail arrives. Email buzzes. The mailman seems a little irritated, and people just seem busy.

Where is the angry driver going in such a hurry? Why is the supermarket line so agitated? Everyone seems so busy, rushing here and there - with what purpose?

Communication is KEY now - talking is better than sitting in silence - but remember, something saying less is actually more. If it's not polite you're not as inclined to keep it a secret. Watch your tongue. Get it in writing. Think it through. Slow down (traffic ticket cops are waiting!)

Mars is Gemini reminds us that option = freedom = power. At the end of the day, if you have the right to choose, you have the tool of creation at your disposal - you have the choice to change path, decision, direction at ANY moment, exchanging pain and pressure for ease and enjoyment.

If Mars governs how we use our energy, there's a hell of a lot of action, commotion, commuting, shouting, talking, muttering, writing, typing (expect some heated debates or messages in your email box). Siblings appear again reminding us of perhaps a road we never chose - they get to play out another possibility.

Remember in the matrix of 'reality' we live within, in the physical realm, every choice is covered. We live in the NOW - where everything happens simulataeously. Expect a person to appear to remind you of what you did or didn't do - the job you didn't take, the relationship pain you could have endured. They serve as reminders for locating yourself in Space and Time in THIS reality - by showing you how you arrived at your current location.

Where to now?

Mars continues to throw open new doors, possibilities and options.

Is it quality or quantity that matters? perhaps we won't know until we've exhausted all possible options, leaving no stone unturned until we realize just what works for us.

We DO have a second chance under Mars in Gemini. Choose wisely!

Twin Love & hugs,
Neil xxx

P.S If your phone or car has issues now, or you have other breaks in communication or movement, maybe it's a sign to slow down, get your brain in gear FIRST. Take technology in for a check-up, to be sure. Slowing down can only help now, nothing is THAT urgent....

Valentines Special

Check out the main site for the Valentine's Special!

For one week only I'm offering a Free Report when you order a Relationship Report. The great thing about these Reports are you can choose one for your friend, family member, colleague or partner. Plus you get something back for yourself free of charge, and isn't that what Valentine's Day is all about - giving something good to yourself? I agree.

This Valentine's Day, no matter how much you detest it because you're single, or even because you're coupled, no matter how much you dislike the commercial edge, feb 14 continues to stand out as the day of Lovers. This year it vibrates to a '6' (numerologically - 2/14/2006 - 15 = 6)

6 is the Number of Venus, the planet of Affection so that's a great sign. Venus falls in the sign Capricorn this year on feb 14 - a sign not noted for its open demonstrations of love and affection. Gifts this year will be practical more than anything else - tokens of appreciate and useful, not so much flowers and chocolates. Capricorn likes quality and status, so it may be for show, but you know it's classy.

Venus receives beautiful aspects from Jupiter, the planet of indulgence and good times, so people are likely to want to go overboard despite the Capricorn earthiness of the day but the Moon drifts through Virgo so all in all we'll keep our heads. It's not the best day for opening screaming how you adore someone or for chasing the person of your dreams, but people will feel the desire to be grounded and solidify their commitments and connections. Love is real and genuine today, not phoney and dreamy, but it's built to last and that's better than any quick one night of passion.

Wherever you end up on Feb 14 this year, give a thought for the one true love of your life. Not the first person to steal or break your heart, or the one you lust or pine for. But the one you look at in the mirror every morning.

Astrologically we attract and experience all that we are - either by expressing it ourselves or bringing people into our lives to play the role. Either way we get to live it.

Astrology is an amazing tool to discover your energy, your wavelength, your frequency. And once you know who you are, you know what you need and can set about attracting just that. Then the Game Begins, and that's what life is all about, right? Playing to the max.

I hope you enjoy the Valentines special offer - and I hope that whoever reads the Reports, yourself included, you ignite the flame inside and realize just how unbelievably amazing you are.

Venus just stopped its retrograde path and its message has been clear since 2006 began - if you love yourself, truly love yourself, why would you ever accept anything less than greatness in your life?

Look around you - if you aren't receiving the respect and love you deserve, then it's time for a change. Feb 14 is a reminder that without self-love we have nothing. So indulge yourself and know that, without you, the world would be a much different place.

If you're reading this, you're alive, in a physical body and deserve to be here and you're here for a reason. Imagine that. Who cares if you still don't yet know, time reveals everything. These Reports are a step along the way, a puzzle piece, a clue.

So quit sitting in darkness and have a grand old time this Feb 14

Chocolate kisses and seductive scorpio-rising smiles....

Electric Initiations - New Moon in Aquarius Jan 29

The New Moon is always one of my favorite times for the simple fact that it allows us to 'start over' or to at least start something New. (New Moon = New Energy, simple to remember).

The New Moon on Jan 29 falls in the progressive, intelligent air sign of Aquarius.

What does that mean for everyone? The New Moon in Aquarius presents an excellent time to commit to living "outside of the box" - by breaking a few of your own 'life rules'. If energy is stuck, it's time to find a new dynamic way ahead.

Looking to the future becomes a major theme at this time - perhaps you're wondering where your career is headed, if you're set for a pay-raise, where you'll be in a week, month, year from now. Brainstorming is easy at this New Moon - fresh information pours in and you'll be surprised by the ideas and answers you get - they won't be anything like the ones you've come up with (or been given) before.

Having a vision becomes essential under an Aquarian New Moon. Like-minded souls come into focus - or friendships that aren't right for you begin to fade from view. You may reconnect with old friends or make some entirely new ones. Stoke the ones you have that guide you and nurture you, get out and socialize - it's worth getting out of your comfort zones on the night of the New Moon this month, who knows who you could meet!

After the intensely emotional Cancer Full Moon it's a great time now to put passion on the backburner, and not be so touchy about anything. Detach - get some air and breathe, become more objective and scientific and rational about things. Perspective is everything.

Breaking free of convention is perfect now - I'm sure we'll see some quirky new stories of rebels, inventions, scientific progress and some oddball stories you can only hear at an Aquarian New Moon.

The Status Quo gets a slap now - after all, how can we evolve unless we leave 'tradition' behind?

Be a friend - to everyone. Brother and Sisterhood is the key theme now - if it's not good for everyone, forget it. By all means destroy the mainstreams notions of what is right. Do it YOUR way but don't go too far, make it useful and helpful to the Planet as a whole, remember everything is connected, pollute your world and it affects everyone else.

Detachment and distancing ourselves from our habits and attachment to the past will help us break away from destructive behaviors that are holding us back. Now's the time to experience true freedom, when you turn your back on your own past and say 'Thanks for the lessons, it's time to break free and go conjure up a new reality to live in.'

Enjoy the fresh air of this crazy, quirky, funny, topsy-turvey New Moon!

Love.,
Neil

Lessons of Love: Venus Retrograde Dec 24 - Feb 3, 2006

Venus is Retrograde in Aquarius and Capricorn from December 24th, 2005 to February 3rd, 2006.

Time Periods

22 Nov 2005 02:42 pm 1601' Venus Enters Rx Zone
24 Dec 2005 04:35 am 0128'Rx Venus Stationary Retrograde
03 Feb 2006 04:21 am 1601' Venus Stationary Direct
06 Mar 2006 11:23 pm 0128' Venus Leaves Rx Zone

As the planet of love and values, Venus retrograde periods are times when we re-assess what—and who—we value. It is a period that most astrologers consider inopportune for getting married or starting a new relationship. Major financial undertakings are not advised during this period as well. Venus retrograde cycles are good times for creating budgets and financial plans, and for re-thinking our personal relationships. Taking action in the areas of finance and love is not advised until Venus turns direct again.

Because Venus rules beauty and aesthetics, Venus Retrograde is a less than ideal time for beautification processes (new hairdos, enhancements, purchasing a new wardrobe, and so forth), renovations, re-decorating, and the like. Because Venus is associated with social events, parties may not go as planned.

On the subject of love, past lovers may re-appear and some relationships may end. With Venus in Capricorn for most of its retrograde cycle, our fear of rejection may be strong. Old friends and lovers may re-appear, perhaps complicating current relationships. Venus retrogrades when it conjuncts Chiron, the wounded healer, suggesting that we may be nursing our relationship wounds during this cycle. We are called to deal with relationship issues from the past.

Think back to what may have happened during the last few Venus retrograde cycles (April through July 2004, September through December 2002. February through May 2001). Although each retrograde cycle is different, similar issues may arise. In fact, some of the issues we faced then may need to be dealt with now. Events occur that seem fated or pre-destined. It will be a real challenge getting close to a lover during this period of time. Unorthodox, experimental, and non-intimate relationships may be favored.

Particularly around the days of Venus' stations (December 24th, 2005 and February 3rd, 2006), hold your tongue. If you are itching to argue with a lover, try to hold off. It is likely that you will have a change of heart once the station passes, and you can do a lot of damage in the meantime.

Some people are more sensitive to Venus retrograde cycles than others. For example, I know of one woman, with no knowledge of these cycles, who broke up with partners in each of the last three Venus Retrograde cycles!

Venus-ruled Taurus and Libra natives are likely to be particularly sensitive to the effects of Venus Retrograde. Also, people who have Taurus and/or Libra associated with love or financial areas of their chart tend to be more affected than others. This includes Aries Ascendant natives (because Libra is on the house of partnerships and, often, Taurus is on the cusp of their income house, the second). Taurus or Libra on the fifth house of romance is another indicator, and those people who have Venus in Taurus or Libra are also quite sensitive to the cycle.

Aries and Aries Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your tenth house of career and reputation. For the time being, the social aspect of relationships on the job may be compromised somewhat. Be as non-judgmental as you can with co-workers during this cycle.

Taurus and Taurus Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your ninth house of faith and adventure. With Venus as your ruler, you are especially sensitive to all of the Venus Retrograde issues described above. An argument over personal philosophies of life can get you into hot water.

Gemini and Gemini Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your eighth house of intimacy, shared resources, and personal transformation. Hold onto your money, work on a budget, and avoid arguments with loved ones that revolve around intimacy and sexuality. An argument over joint finances can also get you into hot water. Hold back. What you say now can have serious ramifications.

Cancer and Cancer Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your seventh house of one-to-one partnerships. Misunderstandings with your partner now can do serious damage. If you need to talk through problems, do your best to be as non-judgmental as possible, and don't over-react to what your partner has to say either. Things will look much better in February and March.

Leo and Leo Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your sixth house of work, health, and habits. In addition to the general cautions outlined above, the social aspect of relationships on the job may be strained for the time being. Do your best not to let people get to you. Put off beautification processes during this cycle.

Virgo and Virgo Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your fifth house of romance, speculation, entertainment, and children. Because the cycle directly affects your sector of romance and speculation, you should be especially wary of jumping into arguments with a lover and taking a risk gambling. You may feel you are on shaky ground in the romance department. You don't need to share all your feelings with a lover right now, and you shouldn't jump to conclusions if your lover needs a little space.

Libra and Libra Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your fourth house of home and family. The last week of December, however, can be a challenging one for you in the romance department. Don't jump to conclusions if a lover is acting a little distant. Wait it out. In January, relations with your family may be a little strained. You might want to wait until Venus is direct before you express your frustrations with family members! What you say now may be costly. Furthermore, if you take the time to think about things, your approach to dealing with these issues in February is likely to be much more productive.

Scorpio and Scorpio Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your third house of communication, siblings, and neighbors. You are likely to withdraw from chit-chatting during this period, and this might alienate a few people, especially siblings and perhaps neighbors. You may be misreading body language as well.

Sagittarius and Sagittarius Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your second house of money and values. As such, in addition to the general cautions outlined above, hold on to your money. Take the time to re-think your sources of income and how you spend your cash during this period, and avoid making any big purchases until February or March.

Capricorn and Capricorn Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your first house of personal appearance and mannerisms. Venus is retrograde in your sign. This retrograde cycle will affect your manner. Others are likely to misunderstand what you do and say, and misread your body language. Try to keep things status quo with regards to your love life. Don't worry if a lover isn't quite "getting" you for the time being. Things will change once Venus turns direct.

Aquarius and Aquarius Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your twelfth house of all that lies beneath the surface of things. In the last week of December, Venus is retrograde in your sign before it moves back into Capricorn come January, and you might find that others are misreading and misunderstanding you. Keep things status quo in your love life as much as possible. You are likely to be more withdrawn than usual, which can be a source of concern for your lover.

Pisces and Pisces Ascendant: This Venus Retrograde cycle affects your eleventh house of friendships, groups, and aspirations. Your friendships or associations with groups may be a little strained during this period--a time when you may withdraw and others might misinterpret your intentions.

Wearing your Inside Out: Full Moon in Cancer, Saturday January 14 2006

Cancer Full Moon, Saturday Jan 14 at 24Cancer.

Since Cancer is ruled by the Moon, this Full Moon proves to be an extra special one with obvious Cancerian connotations - intense emotions, making or surfing intense waves on the home and family front and a general air of sensitivity for everyone.

If you've been seeking a new place to live since the New Moon, chances are it reaches it peak and you find somewhere or a major part of that puzzle falls into place.

if you're having 'issues' at home or with your nearest and dearest (family, close buds, roomies, landlords and those connected to your home picture) then it should reach its peak by Saturday and a resolution can be found.

Things hit the fan, complete, resolve or are revealed at the Full Moon so for everyone - emotions are revealed and vulnerability and sensitivity is right out there for all to see. In short - we're being urged to wear our hearts on our sleeves, to bring our inside, out.

So let the full moon shine its bright spotlight on what's going on inside you - remember, outer reality is but a reflection and refraction of your inner light - if it's not at peace, you're not. Forget outside battling, and find the source of your inner discontent.

Let it go - an emotional message for every Full Moon, but stronger at this one, in the sign ruled by the Moon itself.

Water figures strongly now - from weather patterns intensifying (Seattle, WA has seen around 20 days straight of 24-hour rain, the west coast of the USA has already been swamped with floods this past few weeks etc). Tidal waves (literal or symbolic) are possibilities - in dream analysis, water = emotions, so watch the water this week. Drink more. Bathe more. Relax at the ocean or by the pool. Take a bath, shower, go for a walk in the rain if you're feeling emotionally out-of-sorts.

Once you find your centre, everything falls into place and life takes on that rosy glow again. The Cancer Full Moon helps us find where out emotional buttons are - so we can push them for the final time and move on to a new area of growth. Creativity is strong now - use your emotions for something useful and it should be a pretty fun weekend.

Love,
Neil

What Numerological Year are you in?

Astrology is great for decoding your personal cycles.

Jupiter cycles show where your opportunity lies, for example. in House 11, new friends help you out. Your social circle grows and suddenly you find yourself reacher a wider audience. Your goals seem limitless. In House 4, your personal comfort zone expands, giving you the urge to move, create more space at home, or get out in the world more.

Saturn cycles show where your focus, commitment and karmic/hard work lies. In House 2, you need to find new ways to earn, your income becomes a focus of discipline - are you overspending, or selling yourself short?

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto chart different courses - ones that affect our lives deeply, at the core.

Astrology Readings of your personal Birth Chart give you a handle on the exact cycles and specific developments you can expect. Choices open up as doors do and you have the freedom to decide where to go. In the end, it's up to you.

Where are you at in your personl cycle as far as 2006 goes?

Well your Astrology Chart decodes the specific parts of your Big Picture - consider an overview of 2006 so you can get ready to make the most of cycles when they open up, and get ready to let go and move on in certain areas when the cycles are closing. Be prepared - Knowledge is Power and choice is freedom.

Numerology is an interesting path to look into. If everything is connected and a vibration of energy, you can determine what your overview is by a simple process of finding your Personal Year Number. try it and see what you think:

Add your month and date of birth to the current year (2006):

Example: June 18 is your birth date. Add 6+1+8 to (2+0+0+6) = 23 = 2+3 = '5' Year

What's a prevalent theme in 2006 for you? Read below and check out further comments on each Personal Year at http://www.acumind.com/Joe/persyr.html.

Personal Year 1. . . .A New Beginning In Your Life
The current year is the beginning of a new nine year cycle for you. It holds the promise of being an exciting new adventure, with life taking on new challenges that pave the way for the next cycle of nine years in your life. This is a time to clarify your goals and it is a time to act on them. Hard work may be necessary to get a new venture moving. Your physical strength will be up during this year, perhaps higher than it has been for some time, as you have some special needs for this extra energy. If you are unable or unwilling to answer the call to change and make the move in your life that appears necessary now, your prospects may be delayed until the next cycle begins in nine years. Because of this, you feel like an adventure, a major change in your life, something new. New goals should be clearly set and worked toward, as this is really a new beginning of a nine year cycle and it is best not to dwell on the past at this time. This will be fairly easy for you to do because most of the problems and disappointments of the past will tend to disappear, leaving the way open for these new challenges. This is a great time; use it to its full advantage.

Personal Year 2. . . .Development, cooperation, and waiting
This is a number 2 personal year. A personal year 2 is a wait and see time; a year when you will find yourself in the background and very much in a stage of development. This is not a time to force the issue and try to move forward. It is a time for cooperation and building relationships that will benefit you in the future; a year for accumulating and collecting. Aggressiveness will cause problems now. You must be prepared for delays, detours, stoppages and you must be patient. This is a time of small contribution, of helping, and details must be taken care of when they come up. You may give time and effort to further another's work. This year may be a test to your self-control and emotional sensitivities. This is a time to improve your abilities to work with others in a productive way and this can be difficult for you if you have chiefly worked alone in the past. Keep calm, cool, and pleasant. You may experience a degree of nervous tension during this period; the two year brings a tendency to emotional extremes including depression. Very deep relationships with a person of the opposite sex (including marriage) may be more apt to occur during a 2 year. If married, there is apt to be a deepening of feeling in the relationship during a 2 year.

Personal Year 3. . . .Social expansion & creative successes
This is a number 3 personal year. This is a social, happy year, and it generally tends to exude bright and cheerful vibrations. This is a year when you will want to check up on old friends and broaden your social circle to include some new ones. Romance and love affairs may bloom. You are inclined to live life to its fullest now, even if you have to pay the consequences later on. You are likely to be more sociable and the bridle of responsibility will seem to be loosened a bit. You are inclined to scatter your energies and undertake too many things at the same time. You can safely take some time off to enjoy yourself, but resist the temptation to completely give in to having a good time; keep your goals in mind. A 3 personal year is a good time to expand personal creative talents, particularly those related to the arts and verbal skills. Recognition in this regard is likely this year.

While this can be a happy year as far as personal expression and activities are concerned, it may be a disastrous year on the business scene. A generally frivolous attitude in that environment can cause rash decisions and impractical, unfinished schemes. This is not likely to be a very good year for your finances, and it is fortunate that the next year is designed to compensate these effects.

Personal Year 4. . . .Hard work and slow, but steady progress
This is a number 4 personal year for you. The previous year frivolity will now be truly forgotten, as the facts of life are clearly spelled out. This is a year of hard work and effort when one must knuckle down to the task at hand. A year of digging in and hoeing, a reestablishment of self-control. In many ways, however, it is a frustrating year, when considerable effort fails to produce dramatic results. One step forward and two back may seem to be the case most of the time. This is an organizational period and you must look at your current and past performance in a very hard light. It is a time to get organized and bring yourself down to earth. Responsibilities will increase, magnifying the effort and hard work needed to maintain a reasonable level of existence. Health and diet should be carefully scrutinized this year, as physical resistance is low and you may become more susceptible to ailments. A tidying up of affairs is now in order, as you must make ready for a very hectic year ahead.

Personal Year 5. . . . Feeling Loose and Free
This is a number 5 year, a year of major change in your life. Horizons are expanded and growth is less impeded. You are likely to make a number of new friends this year as social activities are expanded. This is a year that has brought/will bring excitement and adventure and a good deal more freedom than you have experienced in recent years. This is a time for feeling loose and free; for moving away from old routines in a constructive way. If you became bogged down during this past year, now is the time to seek out new directions.
The problem with a personal year 5 is the tendency to scatter energies in all directions. Your ability to do detail work is limited now and it will make you feel very confined. In all, this a free-wheeling year that is liable to bring major changes to your life; your career, your family situation, your residence.

Personal Year 6. . . . Love, Family, Home and Responsibility
This is a number 6 Personal Year for you. A personal year 6 tends to bring on increasing responsibilities and a deepening concern for family, loved ones, and close friends. It may be a year when you are called on to make some adjustments in your life, or sacrifices for those in your family or close circle of friends. This is not really a year for major accomplishments, but rather a time to handle those adjustments to your plans that may be necessary or required, and for finishing projects started earlier. Endeavors will seem to be moving so very slowly throughout this year. You should expect to have a very good year so far as family, domestic, and romantic matters are concerned. Your emotional interchange with those who are close to you should be at its very best during this particular year. The important thing is to be willing to accept a slower pace and be sure to enjoy the peace and harmony that the personal year number 6 will bring.

Personal Year 7. . . . a time for analysis and understanding
A 7 personal year promises to be a very introspective year, a period of some pause and reflection between very active years in your life. This year should provide you with some time for gaining some understanding of yourself, and you are apt to spend a good bit of time in contemplation. It will be good for you to spend time alone or in quiet activities, as free from outside responsibilities as possible. You should try to get away from business pressures. This is a good year to reflect on the past and plan for the future. This will not tend to be a year of action, but rather a year of waiting and development. One of the most profitable activities in with to engage during a personal year 7 is that of study and writing, for your ability to think clearly, analyze, and integrate your thoughts is peaked now. Your capacity for research and understanding is at its very best. It would not be unusual for you to take on an appearance of coolness and detachment during a 7 year. Certainly, it is best for you to focus your attention on your talents and your skills in an effort to use the time you have now to refine them. Perhaps you can find the time to gain more education, or simply spend free time in reflection and meditation.

Personal Year 8. . . . Attainment and capital gains
This is a number 8 personal year for you. This is your power year, a period when you can make important strides in you life. Coming after a very slow and introspective period (the personal year 7), you may start feeling some stirrings of ambitions. This is a year of big decisions and major achievements. Activity is your keynote now, and you will find yourself very much involved and occupied. Opportunities for advancement and recognition for past and current work is likely to come about during this year. You have things going for you so long as you take advantage and act. It is easy for you to branch out and expand in a businesslike manner. If you are at all inclined, this is the time to exude self-confidence and authority, because others will tend to be receptive to your leadership and control. Your power and status potential is at a peak of the nine years personal epicycle that concludes at the end of the next year.

Personal Year 9. . . . Reflection and Reaching Out
This is a 9 personal year for you. This is a year of completions, ending, and a time when you are apt to take inventory of the many factors in your life, some of which you are no doubt proud of, and others that you may want to change. You are likely to scrutinize old values, ideals, and the ideas that you thought were important. This should be a time when you become more involved with other's and giving may become more important that merely looking out for yourself. You may also become aware of a lure to commune with nature, as escapist desires become much stronger than in the past. A lot of things that you have been working for should come to completion during this year, and you will tend to clear the deck for the beginning of a new nine year cycle.

2006: Our '8' Year

Welcome to a new Vibration!

Since the New Year begins at the Spring Equinox and the sign of Aries, the lamb of resurrection (symbolic of the easter promise of renewal when the Sun (son of god?) rose again to bring new life to the world of darkness (winter) - resolutions are all too easy to make and break but we push ahead regardless hoping a new number will help.

It will - 2006 is an '8' year (2+0+0+6 = 8). To find out what year it is for you then you take your Day and Month of birth and add the 2006. For us all it's an 8 year. Power. Prestige. The Fruits of Hard Work. Discipline. Money. The Goods. Promises delivered. Solidification. Strength of purose and will ready for a dissolution next year in the 9 cycle when we let go and prepare for a new start.

What's your personal year? If you're born oct 28 then you'd be experiencing a '1' year - Oct is the 10th month, add the 28 and 2006 and you get - 1+0+2+8+2+0+0+6 = 19 = 1+9 = 10 = 1+0 = 1

Simple as that. I'll go into more detail on the Personal Years soon, but for now, work out yours and check back for more. 2006 is a year of dedicating yourself to your own path with full passion and commitment. What do you want? Find it, get it, experience it. Don't complain about what's not working, you don't have time, get it moving and make it work out or try something new.
Hard work pays off hugely now so stick with it, success is assured.

I am now in Los Angeles, California, enjoying the first day of sunshine after a 5 day trip from Seattle in some really intense storms, flooding and roads closed. it reminded me of the power of Water - to flood even the strongest and most grounded and 'stable' cities and people. Water is emotions, the drivng fuel of our life on Earth (a lexigram of the word Heart).

So my reminder for 2006 is the ability to adapt - water in astrology gives us the ability to flow, to embrace the obstacle rocks and to keep moving. We can wear away the problem boulders with persistance and peace. Water is strong - as I saw on my drive down here. The ability to adapt - as personified in Pisces the last mutable sign in water - will get us far - when Change comes calling can you shift with the winds and waters? When the tide shifts can you swim on against the tide?

If so, the treasure island awaits. And in an 8 year the rewards of adapting but persevering are amazing.

Happy New Year 2006 - May you Chart a Course while allowing things to take their course.

Love,
Nil
